Ok, first I totally agree with Queen Geek about the Dominic Monaghan guy, although I think Matthew Broderick might be able to pull it off too. As to Lilly, I cant help it, i kept seeing her as Rosario Dawsen ala rent. Does anyone else think that Benjamin Bratt would be a totally obvious choice for Rivera?

I agree with the Dom comment and I can kinda see Rosario Dawson as Lily though it might be a stretch...that would be interesting especially since she'd be trying to be 10 years younger than she already is Very Happy [/i]

Ben Bratt, yup, he'd do. He grew up in the city, I think he'd get a kick out of it. My husband grew up with the Bratt family. The younger bro, Peter, is a screenwriter. It could be a family thang.

I've never seen an African American Goth. Interesting.

Drop by my place of work. There's one over in the Medical Center Information Technology group.

And since we're on the topic - Mrs. Sarge and I just finished watching "Must Love Dogs." All you folks who suggested John Cusack as Charlie: you're right.

Benjamin Bratt - yes!  Reply with quote

Yes! I absolutely pictured Benjamin Bratt as Rivera. Okay, now this is going to sound really weird, but I was forced to watch THE RINGER with Johnny Knoxville, and I could see him as a Charlie, maybe. He's actually a pretty good actor, surprisingly. I see Lily as Asian for some reason. Is she described like that?

Ben would be good, but I didn't picture him in the part- probably because I know him, and his previous parts as cops and military guys didn't play out like I imagined Rivera. I imagined Rivera a bit older and sturdier. But we could beefen' up Ben with some Fry Bread Tacos and he could certainly do the acting for the part.

Yesss, Jimmy Smits. That's who I was thinking of, but couldn't fetter out the name.

I just can't see John Cusack getting jacked off against a wall by a morrigan. Wait. Not that I'd mind.

Anthony Head...  Reply with quote

Isn't he the guy from BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER? The British guy? Or am I thinking of some other guy named Head?

That's him. He's a very good comedy actor.

He's a bit old to play Charlie.
