I prefer to never think of anyone doing Garrison Keillor EVER. I hate the way you can hear him inhaling all slow and deliberate all the time. Seriously, his voice makes me violent.

I loved this! I'm passing it on to all my teacher/writer friends. I wondered...what was the reaction from those who forced you to read and probably forgot your blue M and Ms? Did they laugh, or throw things at you, or buy you dinner?

AG, that was great. I wish I could have been there to hear you reading it (y'know, even though you don't read).

I was there - an historic moment  Reply with quote

It was unbelievable - just watching the audience's (many of whom weren't familar with AG's work) collective jaw drop was worth the $30 price of admission.

Thanks, AG!

Chris,

I can almost hear you not reading this. That in itself is a tribute to your expertise in reading avoidance... and to your presence with people. Thanks ahead of time for not reading to us in the future and for having not read to us in the past. I will however, expect future writings to continue including, but not limited to, not readings that may or may not present themselves again in the future....er, what was I saying?

Anyway,
SNAP,SNAP,SNAP,SNAP!

Chris - Maybe your cats can read the notes you leave them. Did you ever consider that they are simply ignoring you?

It was funny yes, but also a fucking BRILLIANT bit of passive-agressive protest.

I laughed till I cried. I keep trying to explain to the husband why he needs to read your books, but I lose something in the translation. Possibly the curiosity of unexplained giggles might do the trick. Laughing

Two of my coworkers read this(because I made them) and loved it. They are now looking for ways to use fucktards in conversation.
