Official Newbie thread is too long, plus I need the ego boost of my very own thread. Mr. Green

Newbie to the forum here. Not a newbie to Chris Moore's work, but you could say, "Recently re-introduced." I saw A Dirty Job at my local B&N, & the cover cought my eye. So, I read the jacket copy. Saw that it was the same author that wrote Practical Demonkeeping. Bells started going off in my head, but it just turned out to be someone's cell phone. (OK, it was mine. Embarassed ) I seemed to remember the title, Practical Demonkeeping, so I hit "ignore" on my phone & went over to the shelf of Chris Moore books, (A Dirty Job was on the New Release Table.) & read the copy for that & remembered reading it back when IT first came out, & loving it. Still wondering why I forgot to keep track of his career, but I didn't have the internet, (Al Gore was still working on it, I think) & I got the book through the Science Fiction Book Club. So many of the books they had seemed to be by people who only wrote one book & then drop off the face of the earth. I stopped receiving books from them soon after getting PD, guess they actually expected me to send money to them, or something. After reading ADJ, twice, I hit up Amazon for all the rest of his books, (except Stupidest Angel, I'm gonna wait til Christmastime to read that one.) & read them all over the course of a week & a half. Now, of course, i have characters & locations all mixed together, so I'm gonna have to re-read them all again. Very Happy

Well, that's enough of my Mooreography for now, I need to find the most comfortable book of his to set my bare ass on.

Nevermore...

Oh you are too funny. Application denied. I don't want this kind of competition.

Welcome. I guess.

Would you like regular KY or Ultra-gel for your noobie cavity search? HAH! Trick question! Like I'd give the choice!

You'll probably find plenty of cavities without any need for lube. Haven't been to a dentist in a long time...

And, yes I'm attempting to artificially boost my post count. Razz

I loved the story there. I've had stuff like that happen too. We like to read around here and talk about books and pie and stuff. Nevermore.
