My vote in the poll we can't vote in because the blog is locked:

The Author Guy's Appearance as a Giant Gas Bag

This sounds most likely from all the non-information provided in the latest blog post, since giant gas bag can be interpreted in so many ways. He actually could be going to sit for the design of a giant Macy's parade balloon. I think he could give Underdog a run for his money (though I am a major Underdog fan). Then again, he could have been invited to expel a lot of hot air about either the 9/11 thingy or the Republican Convention. It could happen. Not likely, but hey, we're talking AG here. I could go on, but I'm boring myself.

Any other ideas?

I'd go with gas bag, too.  Reply with quote

As a Red Sox fan, I'm kind of hoping he's going on a top secret mission to destroy the New York Yankers.

If not, any of the following are acceptable:

1) Beating up Thinkinsane (who needs a good ass paddling on basic principle)
2) Entering into the Underground Midget Trade (don't ask)
3) Doing a hands-on study for his next book. Target, the New York Drag Queen.
4) Spray Painting 'CHENEY SUCKS' across the forehead of the Statue of Liberty
5) Is contributing to a panel looking to change THE BIG APPLE to something a lot more interersting, like THE THROBBING BANANA.

Other than that, I gots nothing.

You big tease!  Reply with quote

I think he's going to the big apple to push the really really big button.

I'm in a button pushing mode simply because we had a delivery today to the Atlas Car Crushers (for any that don't know or care to know now... I work in a flower shop) anyhow...I thought after seeing that delivery address that yes, this is what I want on my next resume...

Button pusher at Atlas Car Crushers. ... Ain't that the bomb? Wink

Author Guy - whatever it is...I won't sleep 'til Thursday (well, standing up anyways) Laughing

Gooooo AG! Cool

He's secretly a cosplayer.  Reply with quote

My thoughts:

1: He's not going to NYC. He's going to Baltimore. Otakon starts on Friday. Pre-registered guests pick up badges Thursday night. CM's going to a huge anime convention, and he's going to say it's research for the new book, but he's really going to dress as Sailor Moon. http://www.otakon.com/gallery.asp (I say this because I'm leaving for Otakon myself on Thursday afternoon and will have to call and harass Hill to tell me what the news is. Pout.

2: He's going to the Warner offices and telling them I'm the best damned sales rep ever and they should pay me a million dollars. And give me a pony. And he'll chain himself to someone's desk and sing show tunes until they make it so.

3: Speaking of show tunes, he's helping to cast Lamb: The Musical.

Lust Lizard - The Broadway musical... Shocked

Although I would think Lamb would be a better choice but Jesus on Broadway has been done soooo...

S.A.S.  Reply with quote

I don't vote for any of those. A.G.'s trying to misdirect us. Wait, there is a clue! S.A.S.! That's a brand of shoes. Being the fashion guru that he is, A.G.'s going to develop his own line of shoes. Just think, this time next year, we could be wearing a Chris Moore logo on our feet. Shocked

Hmmm, S.A.S. is a clue, is it? Chris, are you going to the Limey Consulate to join the British Special Forces? Good luck man, but I've seen you smile, and frankly, you don't have the teeth for it. Stop brushing immediately, and you might want to start opening beer bottles with your chicklets, or you'll never make the cut!

You guys have it all wrong.

The author guy is on his way to NY to become head speech writer and spiritual guru for the Libertarian Party's new presidential ticket; Al Roker and Willard Scott.

That's right, CM is going to be the man behind the curtain, the man pulling the strings, even the man with his hand up Al Roker's butt making him sing Yankee Doodle Dandy while the Author Guy drinks a large Long Island Iced Tea in full view of the public.

Yay! Vote Libertarian! Roker and Scott, can't be bought! Scott and Roker, not a toker!

Roker and Scott in 2004!

None of these ... maybe VCR alert?  Reply with quote

My choices ... CM's going to be on the Daily Show with Jon Stewart ...
EXCEPT aren't they in Boston for Democratic National Convention.

Since my first choice is a bust ...

He's going to be on Late Night with Letterman
He's going to be on Regis and the vacuous-talking-breasts-of-this-year ...
He's going to be on with COOOOOH NANNNNN OOO"BRIIIIIENNNNNNNN.

Who else is out of New York?

Today Show ... See-BS This Morning ... GMA

Other choices...
NYC wants a report on why, in the GPP (Gay Pride Parade) in SF ...
the parade seamed more fit (and trim) ... when it would seem like
NYC should be more fit ... because they throw so many (fits, that is)

Should I be anywhere close to the truth, it is due to my imagination
and problem solving ability. Just this morning when all other options
seemed vague, and adding to, rather than solving the problem, I found
the proper maps than lead to a definitive decision and actions ... five
others failed before me. So it's no psychic bond, no insider information,
and Raziel didn't tell me. And I'm probably wrong.

Oh, I know ...
They want him to speak to the UN about cloning ... yeh that's the ticket.

Sorry, just cloning around.
